KNOWIDEA Launches VeriPIE 1.0 to Reduce Decision Risk with Verified AI Predictions

TORONTO, October 6, 2026 — KNOWIDEA today launched VeriPIE 1.0, the Verified Predictive Intelligence Engine. VeriPIE connects to a company's existing systems, predicts what happens next and what it is worth, and verifies every number in the recommendation.

VeriPIE 1.0 is available today in the KNOWIDEA platform. Parts of the engine are in production with a Fortune 500 oil and gas producer, a global financial institution and an industrial manufacturer.

Most companies decide using dashboards that describe the past, consulting reports that take eight to twelve weeks and cannot be traced once the team leaves, or AI answers that are right most of the time. When a decision rests on a number no one can check, the risk sits with the executive who signs it.

VeriPIE runs the same five steps on every question:

Each number traces to its source system, table, rows and dates. Claims that can be checked exactly are checked by code, not by another model. When the evidence is missing, VeriPIE does not issue a verified recommendation and names the missing input.

In one example, a 4.2% gross margin decline is split into three drivers. VeriPIE rules out three of four candidate explanations and recommends the corrective option with the highest expected value at the company's risk level.

For financial data, VeriPIE reached 70% accuracy against a 65.4% baseline on the Spider and BIRD text-to-SQL benchmarks.
